New Moon Sound Journey

  • Spiritsong Wellness 107 N Broadway St. La Cygne, KS 66040 United States (map)

There's a particular kind of tired that sleep doesn't fix — the kind that comes from months of striving, pushing, and wondering if you're enough. If that resonates, this evening was made for you. On the night of the Taurus New Moon, we gather for a deeply restorative sound journey built around something deceptively simple, and surprisingly rare: permission to receive.

The Energy of This Moon

Taurus is not an impatient moon. Where other lunar energies spark action and initiation, this one asks something more challenging of us: to cultivate rather than chase, and to trust what is already rooted. This is a moon for planting seeds of stability, self-worth, and grounded intention, then releasing the need to force their growth. Abundance isn't always something you go after. Sometimes, it's something you finally allow yourself to feel.

What We'll Experience Together

The evening opens with a guided meditation designed to bring you gently out of your head and back into your body to release the mental chatter, loosen the grip of the day, and settling you into a quieter, more receptive inner state. From there, you'll be immersed in a live sound bath woven from singing bowls, gong, drum, and chimes, as vibrations move through the physical body and coax the nervous system out of its habitual "doing" mode and into something deeper.

You don't analyze or follow along — you let the sound do the work. Tension you didn't know you were carrying begins to soften. The mind quiets. The body remembers how to rest, genuinely and guiltlessly. By the close of the journey, there is space to set a personal intention for the lunar cycle ahead.

Are you running on empty and craving rest that actually restores?

Is there a quiet voice telling you that you're not doing enough, not being enough?

Do you feel ungrounded and can't quite find your footing during times of uncertainty?

Do you want to set meaningful intentions but your mind is too cluttered to hear what you actually want?

When you're ready to join us, here's all you need to know:
- Comfortable clothing
- A water bottle
- A journal and pen (optional, but lovely for capturing anything that surfaces)

Yoga mats, blankets, pillows, bolsters, and eye masks are provided. You're welcome to bring your own if you prefer the comfort of familiar things.

Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
